How do I make the boy next door ask me out?

Okay so my neighbor is really cute and i been having a crush on him since middle school but the good thing is that we are good friends and have changed our relationship into a "Friends with Benefits" thing so it gives me a good opportunity to get closer to him and be with him. The bad thing is that we don't hang out much as we use to and i always have to make the first move so we can "chill" together. The only reason why i do him is cuz i like him but i want it to change to something more but don't know how to?? HELP!!
