Is science too complicated for climate skeptics?

In most cases it is refusal to accept the information. Case in point - I recently asked a question about possible benefits of fracking. The usual crowd of deniers were uniformly negative- unwilling to recognize a cheap domestic fossil fuel with large proven reserves when it might require them to say something positive about global warming science.
