Why is my dog depressed?

I lost my dog for a day and she was fortunately found by neighbors, but she was gone for a day... When we first saw her again she was happy but now she isn't being herself and seems depressed. Can she have gotten bit the night she was missing and have rabies or something? I dont see any bites on her though. What could be the cause?
